Terms of Business

This document sets out the terms on which Mooirivier Makelaars provides financial services to you, as required by the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) General Code of Conduct.

1. Who we are

Mooirivier Makelaars is an authorised Financial Services Provider, FSP number 14865, licensed by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

2. The service we provide

We act as an intermediary between you and insurers, helping you select and arrange insurance cover suited to your needs.

3. How we're paid

We're remunerated by commission from insurers on the policies we place, as described in our Conflict of Interest policy. We'll disclose any other fees before you incur them.

4. Your responsibilities

To help us give you appropriate advice, please:

• Give us complete and accurate information, including your full claims and insurance history
• Let us know promptly if your circumstances or risk profile change
• Review your policy documents when you receive them, and query anything that looks wrong

5. Complaints

If you're unhappy with our service, please contact us directly first so we can try to resolve it. If we can't resolve it to your satisfaction, you may refer your complaint to:

6. Ending this relationship

You may end your mandate with us at any time by giving us written notice. We may also end our services to you on reasonable notice, without affecting cover already placed and in force.
